Chatham County: Know What's Happening With the Enbridge Pipeline

If you live, own land, or care about the future of Chatham County, you've probably heard about the proposed Enbridge natural gas pipeline. The proposed project would run approximately 28 miles through Chatham County, roughly from the Siler City area toward south of Jordan Lake, crossing the Haw River. The route is still being developed, and the project has sparked a lot of conversations around agriculture, landowners, water, growth, property rights and the future of our community.
Regardless of where you stand on the project, this is a good time to pay attention and get informed. Chatham County has already held public comment sessions and an Agriculture Advisory Board hearing, and residents can continue to follow upcoming meetings, review project information and participate in the public process.
We've also been following local conversations and videos that help explain what's happening on the ground, including some excellent videos from Jenna Dunning that break down the project and why local residents are paying attention.
Want to learn more or get involved? Start by following Chatham County's meeting calendar and project information, and check out Jenna's videos for a local perspective. Written By: Goldman Chavez Group with BOLD Real Estate
